The Bad Beat Jackpot rewards the player who loses a strong hand. The fund builds from a share of qualifying pots, is not raked, and 100% is paid out to players. Once a club joins a union, the club jackpot is replaced by the union jackpot.
Trigger conditions
- The hand reaches showdown.
- The pot is at least 10 big blinds.
- At least 4 players were dealt in preflop.
- Both winner and loser use both hole cards (two for PLO/PLO5).
- A pocket pair is required for four of a kind.
- With run-it-multiple-times, only the first run counts.
- The prize is paid even if the player leaves the table or disconnects.
ℹ️You can't opt out of contributing while playing an eligible table. Admins set triggers separately for NLH, PLO, PLO5 and Short Deck, with payouts by table blinds.
